- What is PineChat?
- PineChat is a proactive AI teammate that works inside WhatsApp. It connects to the tools your team already uses, email, calendar, Salesforce, and uses that context to flag which client relationships are going quiet, surface what was last discussed and promised, and draft the follow-up, which your team always reviews and sends themselves.
- Who is PineChat for?
- Client-facing teams whose revenue depends on trust built over months, not on volume. Financial advisors and wealth managers carrying large client books. Coverage and relationship bankers. Enterprise sales and business development leaders running long, multi-stakeholder deals. Investors and founders managing portfolios and networks. It works for individuals too, and it is built for teams of twenty and up.
- Does PineChat replace our CRM?
- No, and it does not write to it either. Your team keeps Salesforce or HubSpot as the system of record. PineChat connects read-only, reads what is already in there, and adds the context that was never going to be typed into a CRM field in the first place, from email, calendar and voice notes. Your team gets that context back in WhatsApp at the moment they need it.
- What if my team doesn't have a CRM?
- PineChat works without one. Connect email and calendar and it builds the picture of every client relationship from there: it briefs you before meetings, turns voice notes into records and drafts, and flags who has gone quiet. If you add a CRM later, PineChat connects to it read-only and layers its context on top.
- How is PineChat different from other relationship or CRM tools?
- Two things. It lives in WhatsApp, where your team already works, so there is no dashboard to adopt and no training week. And it speaks first. Most tools wait to be opened and asked. PineChat tells your team what needs attention before anyone goes looking.
- Does PineChat message my contacts for me?
- No. It drafts, your team reviews and sends. It never sends on your behalf. It is the opposite of a bulk outreach or sales automation tool.
- Does PineChat only work in WhatsApp?
- WhatsApp is where PineChat works today, and it is where most client-facing teams already talk. PineChat is built to run on any surface your team uses, and a Slack version is in alpha now. If your team works somewhere else, tell us.
- Does PineChat read my WhatsApp messages?
- No. PineChat only sees your one-on-one chat with PineChat — the messages you send it. It can't read your other WhatsApp conversations or contacts; WhatsApp doesn't allow that, and PineChat never asks for it.
- Can PineChat do research for me?
- Yes. Ask it to look someone up, prep you before a meeting, or pull public context on a person or company, and it can search the web and combine that with what it already knows from your connected tools.
- How does PineChat work?
- Three steps. Save the PineChat number as a single WhatsApp contact. Connect email, calendar and CRM. Then it speaks first: who has gone quiet, what was promised, what is still open. Voice notes after a meeting become a structured record and a drafted follow-up.
- Do I need to download an app?
- No. PineChat works inside WhatsApp, which you almost certainly already have. There is nothing new to install and no dashboard to learn — you start by saving one number and sending it a message.
- What does it cost for a team?
- Per seat, billed annually, with volume pricing above a certain team size. Talk to us and we will scope it against the size of your client-facing team.
- Is my data private and secure?
- Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and our team cannot read your messages. You choose which tools to connect and can disconnect any of them in one tap (and revoke access in your Google or Microsoft account). CRM connections are read-only. AI features use trusted enterprise providers (Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude) and your data is never used to train external AI models. We never sell or share your data. We are ISO/IEC 27001 certified and independently assessed for GDPR compliance, and our SOC 2 Type II report has been issued.
